Arayana

When ladies all got together to dress and arrange their hair before dinner when this Inn was young, they might have preferred to do so in the comfort of Arayana's Room. The elegant furnishings lend an air of antiquity that creates a pleasing palette to enjoy, and the luscious bedding on the four-poster Queen is nothing short of irresistable. Lots of sunshine from the southern side make this room fresh and airy, perfect for those looking for joy in unexpected places.

Full private bath with shower and amenities is naturally included. Gourmet breakfast is served at 8:30 in the morning room; coffee, a bit earlier. $138.

Beverly

There is a certain nostalgia about Beverly's Room that perhaps comes from the simple sweetness of the handmade quilt resting at the foot of the antique four-poster bed, or the graceful lines of the windows on the northern and eastern walls. This rooms speaks quietly of days when gentleness was a way of life and respect for things old and wise came naturally. We hope that you will appreciate the wholesomeness of this truly special place as we do.

The Loft

The Loft is the crown of the Inn, consisting of the entire third floor. The tranquility of this beautiful sanctuary is furnished in part by a truly unique door that opens up from the top of the staircase and operates by means of a large and ornate counterweight. Once the door is closed, the Loft becomes a quiet world of its own where peace and contentment flourish.

A queen bed nestled along the eastern wall catches all the morning light, and welcomes the weary with comfortable charm. On the opposite side of the spacious room is a double futon for extra sleepers and a cozy sitting area. The northern wall invites lots of neutral sunlight to bathe the room in gentle rays.

Full private bath with shower; microwave, table and chairs, and a mini-refrigerator right in the room provide the welcome necessities for a pleasurable stay. $169.

Michael

Michael's Room is a favorite among our regulars. During the day its fresh colors and strength lend reassurance and calm to the harried travelers who rest here, and by night the moonlight streams in the southern and western windows to cover one in tenderness until the sun arrives.

A very staunch Double-size bed graces the room, and a full private bath with shower and amenities completes this rustic mountain haven. $128.

Emili

A retreat for truly romantic at heart, Emili's Room is the queen of our guest rooms. A stunning platform tub with room for two vies for attention with the gracious antique Double bed. Sweet slumber is guaranteed with the midnight moon peeping through the south-facing windows to wisp across your pillow.

Peter

If we had cats, we'd probably find them sprawled across the graceful Double bed in Peter's Room, sunning themselves. Half a dozen generous windows line the northern and western walls, making this the cheeriest room during the latter part of the day when things are beginning to slow down.

The bathtub is marvelous - room for Mom & Dad, a couple of kids and the family pet, too, it rests comfortably in a box-platform with clever steps going up into it. Peter's Room also has a private "business" area complete with amenities, naturally. $128

Frances

Of all the rooms, Frances' is the most quaint. Reflective of more peaceful times, it reminds one of grandma's favorite guest room in her country home.

Resting on the northeast corner of the house, this room stays cooler in the summer and has a lovely view of the gardens. A cunning stationery desk with old-timey candle boxes stands across the room, and surprise! - the bed can easily convert to either King or two Twins.
